第二次世界大戦下の1940年代、US MARINE CORPSの作業着として使用されていたパンツをベースにした、ヘリンボーンツイルのユーティリティトラウザーです。当時のミリタリーウエアに見られるワイドなシルエットを、そのまま忠実に落とし込んでいます。
素材には、orslowオリジナルで開発したヘリンボーンツイルを使用し、ムラ糸を用いて織り上げることで、1940年代のヴィンテージを思わせる不均一で奥行きのある表情を持たせ、ヘリンボーン特有の畝立ちが際立ち、シンプルながらも素材の存在感を感じさせます。生地の肉感は中厚で、重すぎず軽すぎないバランスの良い生地です。
季節を問わず、年間を通して着用できるユーティリティトラウザーとして仕上げています。当時の実用服としての背景と、現代的な着用シーンを見据えた素材設計を融合させた一本です。

These herringbone twill utility trousers are inspired by the work pants worn by the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II in the 1940s.
